Meet Veronica Cardona, PMH-C, LCSW
You’re already stronger than you think you are.
The support you deserve to move through your journey.
If you’re looking for a therapist that deeply understands infertility challenges, postpartum stressors, and grief & loss, you’re in the right place.
Does your heart hurt from the grief and sorrow you are feeling? Are you feeling that life isn’t fair, that you are being punished, or that your body is betraying you?
It’s OK to feel this way. In childhood, we are seldom aware of fertility challenges and the grief that follows after failed pregnancy attempts, miscarriage, or infant loss. Therefore, when we face these challenges, we are often the first in our family or group of friends to have these experiences. Sometimes we are lucky and already have a dedicated “circle of support” like a partner, best friend, pastor, or medical provider. Other times, we are left standing ALONE.
Resiliency research shows that the earlier we build support around us during difficult times, the easier it can feel.
Come as You Are.
Nothing you say or feel will be judged. At your pace, we will work through the big or small things in your life. I am here and I am ready to build a connected relationship with you.
I will compassionately accompany you on this journey and help you identify what is next in your path.
My clients describe me as warm, sincere, supportive, curious and optimistic. They enjoy my gentle but firm guidance and value the knowledge I have through my lived experience with infertility, postpartum stressors, and grief & loss.
They often say that being around me “feels good” and opening up to me is “easy”. I often heard, “I have never told this to anyone”. I enjoy hearing my patients’ deep inner thoughts and I feel honored to be a confidant in a time of need.
I am fluent in Spanish and English. I can provide mental health services in both languages.
